You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvellous—how well I know it.
I love this psalm because it speaks personally of the Creator’s amazing love for us and His care over every detail of our lives.
Can I ask you to leave all your cares aside for the moment and spend some time meditating on all the good stuff the Lord has done for you and your children.
Make a note of God’s blessings and keep them for next time you have a bad day.
Lord Jesus, thank you that you created our children. You knit them together when they were in the womb, and made them wonderfully complex. You made them unique and awesome- then you gave them to us because we were made to be their perfect parent- no matter how we feel about that right now. Whatever happens today , we ask that all mums everywhere will remember that their children are fearfully and wonderfully made. Every child is a beautiful creation and we trust you with every tiny detail of their lives. We know that your plans for them are greater than anything we could dream up, so bring your plans to fruition. Help us to count our blessings daily as we meet the challenges that living with self harm brings, and teach us to see the marvel in your creation.
