16th March 2015 was a busy life in the MASH calendar, as we were invited along to speak at 2 separate venues.
Starting the day at Limes Farm Hall, Chigwell, we enjoyed a very warm reception and had great conversations with some very encouraging ladies who went away determined to spread the good news of ‘Hope not Harm’. In addition we were invited back to a Health and Well-being Day taking place in April.
Everywhere we go we always come across Youth Workers and other professional people who want to know more about how to deal with Self Harm when they come across it in their work capacity. The MASH team are convinced that getting to the root of self harm is complex and support should be given to whole families, and those who regularly support young people.
We have therefore organised Youth Leader training sessions and are happy for anyone who supports young people ( or their families) to contact us.
We are very grateful to the organisations who have invited us along to speak at their venues and look forward to hearing from all at Limes Farm Mums group in the future. Now to get ready for Face to Face at All Saints Church Woodford tonight. More soon….
